Owner/CEO

Mitra FAR, founder and president of Mitra Shipping Trade with over 17 years of experience in international trade, has become a distinguished freight forwarder in the shipping industry. Driven by success, she takes pride in delivering the best customer service.

Her unmatched innovative and problem-solving style has allowed her to create strong relationships with her customers; formed around a core of reliability and trust.

Being a firm believer in education and knowledge, she holds an accounting degree, CIFFA certification (Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association) and holds a FIATA Diploma (International Federation of Freight Forwarders Association).

She is also a licensed life coach whose positive outlook towards life is reflected in her work. Mitra is passionate about connecting the world and enjoys being a part of the shipping journey that leads to the destination successfully.

In addition to her primary job function, Mitra has been recognized for her extraordinary commitment to the NORTH SHORE FAMILY COURT AND YOUTH JUSTICE COMMITTEE.
